Weaving the red thread retreat

30th Dec 2024 - 2nd Jan 2025

Post 9.png

As an intimate group of 13 cyclical creatures,  we will rest into the Winter season together for 4 days and nights over the December New Moon.

Each retreat is unique as the themes and energy emerge from the group, but during our time together I will guide you each to weave red threads on a Loom into a beautiful and sacred Womb wrap to hold you throughout your cyclical life and as a talisman for claiming your Sovereignty.

I am co-facilitating this retreat with the passionate and deeply experienced Sherin Shefik. Who will be inviting you to rest into yin/restorative yoga, embodied intuitive movement, and ecstatic dance.

Woven throughout our time together there will be mystical poetry and story telling, Menstrual cycle/ Menopausal awareness, sharing circles, and time meeting the forest, natural Spring, and land and Beings around Hawkwood.

There will be freshly prepared locally sourced delicious meals, and comfortable accommodation to hold the weight of your queen body as you rest deeply.

It will be a time of returning into our wise, wild and free bodies, allowing the ancient craft of weaving and the intuitive movement of our bodies to guide us home into deep winter.

This retreat will take place over ‘New Year’ in the Gregorian calendar, but our dream is to return us to an older more cyclical way of marking time; The Celtic Wheel of the year, because it's time to do things another way! A way that honours and mirrors the needs of our cyclical bodies.

We will remember that being in circle together as cyclical creatures – in nothing but our whole truth – is necessary and healing.

We will remember what it feels like to trust ourselves and each other, inspire ourselves and each other, and empower ourselves and each other.

We will remember what it feels like to return home to love.

If this calls to your body, then drop us an email to take up your place as 1 of the 13.
